My daughter is going to be mad when she sees this one lol. This is Leanna and Mischief about 3 or 4 years ago. Both of them sprawled out asleep :) I thought it was perfect for The Good Life Challenge over at Photo Friday.

Yep, looks like the good life to me. That's what I wanted to do today, but at 5:00 my husband's alarm went off (my son messed with it last night) and then at 6, I woke up coughing with a dry throat (I was mulching yesterday) and then at 7:35, my husband sent me a text message on my cell phone to tell my his flight home was delayed...so much for sleeping in!

Awwww.. the good life indeed! You know, sometimes we overlook it, but despite everything, family will always be there for us at the end of the day. Even (in my case) when one gets mad at them and they later come home with a Nintendo Wii for apology! On second thought, I think my dad just got addicted to it XD
My friend and I were recently talking about how modern society has evolved to become so integrated with technology. Reading this post makes me think back to that debate we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.
I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as memory gets less expensive, the possibility of downloading our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could experience in my lifetime.
