The first sign of spring in my yard....

Weekly Winners

My (late) Weekly Winners this week are all nature photos :)

This is the state of my flower garden....




and this dead rosebud looks like it was flash frozen last year. Kind of beautiful actually :)




This is one of the areas that Mischief and I walk in a lot....




and this is the first sign of spring growth that I've seen so far.




This is the best water drop photo I have been able to take.



I am frustrated and I can't seem to get my camera settings right. Does anyone out there know approximately what settings I would need to make a decent water drop picture? I believe I took close to 75 of them, trying all sorts of camera settings and I'm just not liking them.

And my gorgeous dog standing still long enough for me to get a pic of his face. You don't know how many photos I had to take to get this one. He always turns his head at the last minute :)

Oh, and by the way, my husband found those camera settings for me that I couldn't find. The only problem is he couldn't remember where they were after he got them to come up. So if I lose them again I'm out of luck, lol :)

I didn't take very many photos this week, but here's a few from our trip to Topeka yesterday....




The backseat filled with groceries from our trip to Sam's Club, you should have seen the trunk!!




My daughter at the restaurant, I just love the look on her face :) I was trying out the low light without the flash on my camera, it left alot of noise on the photo, I'm going to have to work on that one.




The coasters at Outback restaurant with neat little sayings on them :)




The yummy greasy cheese and bacon fries they have there, we get it everytime we go....
